Roberta Horne grew up planning to be a teacher. She ended up in business school instead, drawn to data, systems, and the way numbers tell stories.
For over 20 years at Nike, Inc., she found that those two worlds were never really separate. In every role, from systems analyst to program manager to L&D Director, what she was actually doing was helping people understand something new and use that understanding to work better.
In her last role, she led learning and development for a global function of 2,500+ employees across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. She built competency frameworks, ran training events for 1,000+ people, launched AI enablement programs, guided major organizational transformations, and tracked whether any of it actually changed behavior.

Outside of work, Roberta is a traveler, a Pilates regular, and someone who is always in the middle of building or remodeling something in her workshop.
